A new low...
I love diet Pepsi…l-o-v-e it. I love all diet soda (aka, pop), but diet Pepsi is my favourite. I don’t buy cases of it because I would drink it at an obscene rate. Instead, I go to Tim Hortons and buy it one can at a time…I know this is not cost effective, but I have no control.
I am that crazy person in the red car who rolls up to the drive through around 10pm, in pajamas, and orders 1 diet Pepsi…I’m pretty sure my local Tim Hortons only stocks it because they know, without fail, I will buy it – one can at a time.
So last night I order my diet Pepsi, drive up to pay the kid at the window and I drop all my change on the ground. Now, I could have just sucked it up and lost the $1.38 to the ground…but I wasn’t about to do that…I throw the car in reverse, park it and get out to look for my change in the dark…hard times, being unemployed…Anyway, the kid was in shock that I got out of my car – he asked me if I had a problem picking up money off the dirty ground…NO…here’s the thing – money is dirty no matter what…so picking it up off the ground doesn’t make a huge difference. I finally found my money, picked it up off the dirty ground and paid for my diet Pepsi. I did all of this while wearing my crocs – a new low for sure!
